Philadelphia native Regina known as “GinaLocksSouL” was Born and raised with musical notes from the womb. She is an introvert, intuitive, and was raised in a deeply rooted musical home. Her uncle was a DJ and as a child, she was always escaping in her imaginary world and listen to all kinds of music. Her Uncle would play Funk, Soul, and yes Bach to Jazz, Rock, Disco, Pop, and her all-time favorite Hip-Hop. She started singing in the choir in elementary school and church. As she grew, up to embrace who she was and begin to develop her love for acting, dancing, writing poetry, and eventually singing. She began to emerge herself into the sounds and rhythm of every music genre, by immersing herself in the music. This began to bring forth an eccentric, eclectic music style fused with hip-hop and soul. She was rebirth from all the setbacks she endured from becoming a teenage mother and being homeless.

A story with her stage name “GinaLocksSouL” some might think it is taken from her first name and her hairstyle. However, the real meaning taken from her surname Regina shortened to Gina, once you hear her music that she writes and sing it will touch and lock inside your soul. She has been waiting for this debut release of her music for a long time coming. She is now ready to share with the world her flavor full of sound is electric, a soul of musical art all wrapped up in one is what she gives from her heart, is real music.
